Spokeo payment FAQ

Why is there a Spokeo charge on my card?
It is a Spokeo people-search purchase: a single report, a trial or a membership. Spokeo says purchases start from the Sign Up button or from Get Full Results after a search. The charge shows as SPKSPOKEO, SPKSPOKEO SEARCH, SPOKEO *8006994264 or SPOKEO.COM 8006994264. See I see a charge from Spokeo.
How do I cancel Spokeo?
Open your Spokeo account page, scroll to Manage Account and click Cancel. Spokeo emails a confirmation and the membership does not renew again. A member who is not on a free trial can pause instead and is not billed while paused. See How do I cancel?.
Does the Spokeo free trial turn into a paid plan?
Yes, unless you cancel it. The Spokeo Payment Policy says an uncancelled trial converts to an ongoing subscription on that offer's terms. Cancel before 11:59 PM PT on the trial's last day to avoid the charge.
Does Spokeo refund a charge after I cancel?
No. The Spokeo Payment Policy says all sales are final and membership plans are prepaid and non-refundable, with no prorating for a partial month. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
