Halocard is accepted at Figma. Figma takes credit and debit cards for its paid plans, and new Professional upgrades can only be paid by credit card. An admin adds the card under Admin, then Settings, then Payment details.

What is Halocard?

A US-issued Visa credit card that works like a debit card, with a separate virtual card for each merchant you pay. Lock a card to pause a subscription, or cancel it so the merchant can no longer charge that number.

How to pay for Figma with Halocard

Create a card for Figma in Halocard

In your Halocard dashboard, create a new card, name it Figma and set a limit that covers what you are about to pay.

Click the Free badge next to your team name

In the Figma file browser, click the Free badge next to the team name in the left sidebar. Select the Professional plan, choose seats, then click Next: Payment.

Enter the card and complete the purchase

Enter your payment information and click Next: Review. Agree to the Terms of Service and click Complete purchase. Figma charges the card and updates the account immediately.

To change the card on a paid plan, open Admin, then Settings

In the Billing section click Payment details and enter the new card. Click Save on the Professional plan, or Use this card on Organization and Enterprise.

Tips for successful payments at Figma

AcceptedYou are a team admin on the Professional plan, or an organization admin on Organization and Enterprise. Only admins can manage billing and payment details.
AcceptedAllow for sales tax on top of the plan price. Prices on the Figma website exclude tax, and Figma adds it from your billing and shipping addresses.
AcceptedCheck the projected total for your next invoice under Admin, then Billing. Seats approved during the term are added to that invoice.
AcceptedEnter the billing name and address exactly as they appear on your Halocard.

Why do Figma payments decline?

A subscription payment failed: Figma keeps trying for up to 21 days. Update your payment method and Figma retries every outstanding invoice, or open the invoice under Admin, then Billing, and pay the Stripe invoice directly.
Files are view only after missed payments: When payments keep failing, Figma locks the account so you can view but not edit files. Make a successful payment and Figma restores access.
My bill is higher than expected: More paid seats were probably added. Review seats under Admin, then People, move anyone who does not need a paid seat to a free View seat, and tighten seat approval settings under Admin, then Settings.

Can I pay for Figma with PayPal?

No. Figma's billing help says payment via PayPal, ACH or wire transfer is not currently available. New Professional plan upgrades can only be paid by credit card.

Why is Figma charging me again?

Figma plans renew automatically each month or year at the current seat count. Seats added during the term go on the next invoice, and on an annual Professional plan extra seats are billed as a separate monthly subscription. Admins can see every invoice under Admin, then Billing, then Invoices.

What happens if my Figma payment fails?

Figma retries the payment for up to 21 days. Once you update the payment method, it retries all outstanding invoices, or you can pay the Stripe invoice from the invoice details. If payments keep failing, the account becomes view only until a payment goes through.

Which currencies can I pay Figma in?

Dollars (USD), British pounds, euros, Canadian dollars and Japanese yen for new Professional, Organization and Enterprise subscriptions. Organization and Enterprise customers can change the billing currency through their sales representative.

Can I get a refund from Figma?

Figma says payments for its subscriptions are non-refundable, and moving someone to a free View seat does not earn a prorated refund. If you cancel a Professional plan, the team keeps its features until the end of the billing period, then moves to the free Starter plan.
