Who can apply?
Anyone over 18 who can pass our identity check, holds the necessary marketing licences in their jurisdiction, and isn't located in a sanctioned or restricted territory. Both individuals and entities (companies, agencies) are welcome to apply.
How much can I earn per referral?
It depends on the plan your referral activates. For example, a single Essential ($12/mo) referral pays $5 after they've been subscribed for 30 days, then $5 every month they stay subscribed, kept active for the full 12 months, that's $60 for Essential and up to $300 for the Elite plan.
When do I get paid?
Your first commission for a referral lands when they make their first subscription renewal, about a month after they subscribe. After that, you earn a commission on each renewal they stay subscribed, paid in USD. We may hold a payout where we need to verify activity.
How do I receive payouts?
Commission payments are sent directly to your Halocard account in USD, ready to spend anywhere Visa is accepted using your virtual cards.
What if my referral changes their plan?
Your commission follows their plan. If they upgrade, you earn the higher plan's rate from that month on; if they downgrade, you earn the lower one. Changing plans doesn't restart or extend the 12-month window.
What happens if my referral cancels their plan?
Commissions accrue only while your referral keeps an active, paid subscription. If they cancel, downgrade to no paid plan, or miss a subscription payment, your commissions for that referral stop and don't restart, even if they resubscribe later. The program rewards referrals who stay subscribed.
What happens after the 12-month window ends?
Each referral earns you commissions for up to 12 months beginning from when your user has been subscribed for 30 days, then a recurring commission for the next 11 months they stay continuously subscribed on a paid plan.
How do the Affiliate and Referral programs differ?
The Affiliate Program is the commercial track for professional marketers, creators and influencers. It requires application and approval, pays commissions in USD, and is intended for promotion through public channels with disclosure. The Referral Program is available to any existing Halocard user for non-commercial sharing with friends and family. If you intend to promote Halocard publicly or run campaigns, please apply to the Affiliate Program.
Where can I promote Halocard?
Anywhere lawful and consistent with our Brand Guidelines like your blog, newsletter, YouTube, Meta, X, Telegram, podcast, and so on. You may not promote on platforms whose primary purpose is illegal activity, on dark-web marketplaces, on coupon-stacking or trial-arbitrage sites, or by bidding on Halocard branded keywords. You may not target residents of jurisdictions where Halocard cannot operate.
Can I run paid ads or PPC campaigns?
Yes, but you need our written approval before you launch any paid search, PPC, or paid social campaign. Send us your plan and we'll confirm what you can run. Bidding on Halocard's own branded keywords isn't allowed.
Do I have to disclose that I'm an Affiliate?
Yes. Promotional posts, videos, pages or content that may earn you a commission must include a clear disclosure of your connection to Halocard. Failure to disclose is a breach of the Program Terms and can lead to clawback of commissions.
Are there sub-affiliate or multi-level commissions?
No, the Halocard Affiliate Program is a flat, single-tier model where you earn on the referrals you bring. We don't currently offer sub-affiliate, MLM-style or network commissions, however reserve the right to introduce any of these in the future.
