How much do I earn per referral?

It depends on the plan your referral activates. Personal Core ($12/mo) pays $5 upfront when they sign up, plus $5 every month they stay subscribed. Plus ($29/mo) and Business Plus pay $10 + $10/month. Teams ($59/mo) and Business Teams pay $20 + $20/month. Your upfront commission counts as month 1 and trailing commissions accrue for up to 11 more months — so a single Teams referral kept active for the full year earns you $240 (1 × $20 upfront + 11 × $20 trailing).

When do I get paid, and in what currency?

Commissions accrue to your Affiliate Account in USD. Activation commissions are credited shortly after a referral completes identity verification and funds their account. Recurring commissions accrue each calendar month the referral remains on a paid subscription. We may delay payouts where necessary to verify the legitimacy of underlying activity (e.g. during chargeback windows).

How do I receive payouts?

You can choose between two methods: (1) credit directly to your Halocard balance — useful if you already use Halocard yourself; or (2) your own virtual Visa card loaded with your USD commission, which you can use anywhere Visa is accepted. You don't need to be a Halocard user to be an Affiliate.

Who can apply?

Accepted Answer

Anyone over 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) with the legal capacity to enter into contracts, who can pass our standard KYC checks, holds the necessary marketing licences in their jurisdiction, and isn't located in a sanctioned or restricted territory. Both individuals and entities (companies, agencies) are welcome to apply.

Is there a fee to join, or a minimum audience size?

No. Applying is free. We don't have a hard minimum follower count or traffic threshold — we look at the quality and authenticity of your audience and how well your channel fits the Halocard product. We do reserve the right to decline any application at our discretion.

Question 6

What's the difference between the Affiliate Program and the Referral Program?

Accepted Answer

The Affiliate Program is the commercial track for marketers, creators and B2B partners — it requires application and approval, pays flat USD commissions, and is intended for promotion through public channels with proper disclosure. The Referral Program is automatic for any verified Halocard user and is for personal, non-commercial sharing with friends and family. If you intend to promote Halocard publicly or run paid campaigns, you must apply to the Affiliate Program.

Where can I and can't I promote Halocard?

Anywhere lawful and consistent with our Brand Guidelines — your blog, newsletter, YouTube, X, Telegram, podcast, paid posts (with required FTC disclosure), and so on. You may not promote on platforms whose primary purpose is illegal activity, on dark-web marketplaces, on coupon-stacking or trial-arbitrage sites, or by bidding on Halocard branded keywords in paid search. You may not target residents of jurisdictions where Halocard cannot operate.

Do I have to disclose that I'm an Affiliate?

Yes. Every promotional post, video, page or piece of content that may earn you a commission must include a clear and conspicuous disclosure of your material connection to Halocard, in line with the FTC Endorsement Guides (and your local equivalent). Failure to disclose is a material breach of the Program Terms and can lead to clawback of commissions.

Are there sub-affiliate or multi-level commissions?

Accepted Answer

No. The Halocard Affiliate Program is a flat, single-tier model — you earn on the referrals you bring, full stop. We don't currently offer sub-affiliate, MLM-style or network commissions. We may introduce a sub-affiliate structure in the future, but only on terms published in advance.

Question 10

What happens after the 12-month commission window ends?

Accepted Answer

Each referral earns you commissions for up to 12 months total — your upfront commission for month 1, plus a trailing commission for the next 11 months that they remain subscribed. After that, no further commissions accrue on that referral, regardless of how much longer the Client continues using Halocard. The 12-month window is per-referral — every new referral starts a fresh commission clock.
