Does Semrush accept virtual cards?
No. Semrush's billing FAQ says it does not accept virtual cards and asks for a physical credit card: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express or UnionPay. A rejected card shows the message "Sorry, the credit card you entered cannot be used for this payment".
Why is there a $1 charge from Semrush?
Semrush asks the card issuer for a $1 authorization to check that the card exists and can be authorized. It is not a charge and drops off the statement. Most banks reverse it almost immediately, but some take up to several weeks.
Can I pay Semrush by check or wire transfer?
Yes, on annual subscriptions only and for eligible accounts. Check orders and wire transfers are both available. Eligibility depends on account value, so contact Semrush Customer Support to confirm before you order.
Does the Semrush free trial charge automatically?
Yes. A trial that is not cancelled before it ends converts to a paid subscription and the card is charged. The free trial can be used only once. Cancel through the Cancellation Form and click the confirmation link in the email within 24 hours.
Can I get a refund from Semrush?
Semrush offers a one-time 7-day money-back guarantee for an initial purchase made on semrush.com with a credit card, when the commitment is 12 months or longer. Month-to-month plans and renewals are outside it. Request a refund in writing within 7 days.
