SiraPay review
No-KYC cards can put funds at risk
This provider advertises cards that don't require an identity check (KYC) which are extremely risky.
They usually carry high loading fees, payable only in cryptocurrency, and tend to rely on a compliance loophole in a card program that was never approved for anonymous customers.
When the issuing bank or card network discovers the program, cards are cancelled without warning and balances are frozen, with no certainty about whether or when the money is returned.
- How they are issued
- Banks and card networks are required by US banking laws to identify the holders of reloadable cards. A provider that skips these mandatory checks is usually issuing through a program set up for something else, such as corporate expense cards, where the issuing bank never learns who holds each card.
- Why they stop working
- Once the bank or card network discovers this loophole, they are legally required to close the program. Every card issued on that program is cancelled, often overnight, leaving cardholders in a regulatory no-man's-land, where nobody is clearly responsible for returning your money.
- What happens to your balance
- Your money sits with the provider, not in an account in your name. Getting it back depends on the provider and on whatever its former issuer still holds. The balance is not insured, a chargeback is rarely possible, and there is often no named company or regulator to turn to.
SiraPay is a new, crypto-funded virtual card service from a UK company incorporated in November 2025, which asks for no ID upload at sign-up and names no card issuer, bank or regulator, so it is best kept to small online payments.
Halocard is the better choice for a card you rely on: a US-issued Visa credit card for customers in the US and 120+ countries, with a named issuer and a separate card for each merchant. SiraPay gives you up to 5 spend-only virtual cards for online payments, funded with crypto, with a free plan and a 1.5% fee on foreign currency. It doesn't publish card prices outside its app; its Trustpilot description says they start at $0.99 a month, or $4.99 a year. SiraPay's terms say its cards are for outgoing payments only and can't receive a merchant refund or credit, and its monthly and yearly cards run for a fixed period, and a balance left on an expired card is not refundable or transferable unless SiraPay says otherwise. Its Trustpilot profile has 3 reviews. Halocard is a US-issued Visa credit card for customers in the US and 120+ countries, funded by debit/credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer, stablecoins, or crypto.
