What is Kripicard?

A Kripicard banking partner locked customer balances in February 2026, and it's unclear whether everyone has been refunded

In February 2026, one of Kripicard's banking partners locked a portion of customer balances, and reviewers still reported unrefunded funds in late April 2026. Kripicard began refunding in phases in May and says the large majority of cases have closed with funds returned, but we found no confirmation that every affected customer has been repaid.

Kripicard FAQ

Is Kripicard legit?
Kripicard is an operating company with a published fee schedule and a functioning product; it is not a fraud in the sense of having no product. That said, its Trustpilot rating is 2.6/5 from 24 reviews, mostly one star, the recurring complaint is deposits not becoming spendable balance, and in February 2026 a banking partner locked a portion of customer balances. Read the current reviews yourself and test with a small amount first.
Does Kripicard require KYC?
It depends on the tier. Kripicard's no-KYC page offers a basic tier with an email only, and asks for ID for higher limits, while its security page says all users go through identity verification and sanctions screening through regulated partners. Confirm current requirements before depositing.
How much does a Kripicard cost?
There is no monthly fee. Costs sit in a $5 issuance fee and a $1 processing fee per card, and 4% on every deposit, with a $10 minimum to open a card that becomes your starting balance. Authorisation and FX fees are both zero. In practice the first $100 you load costs about $10, and later top-ups cost 4%.
Can I use Kripicard for Steam, Uber, or subscriptions?
Steam and Uber are both named on Kripicard's prohibited high-risk platform list, so the card should not be used for either. Kripicard sells Steam and Uber gift cards for crypto in its own marketplace instead. Halocard settles purchases at both.See Halocard at Steam
Who issues Kripicard cards?
Kripicard says its cards are issued by licensed partners in their respective jurisdictions, without naming them or the BIN countries. The service is run by Uweb3 Management BR. Halocard cards are issued by Third National, a Non-Bank Principal Member of the Visa Network.
Can I withdraw my Kripicard balance?
Kripicard publishes no withdrawal policy. Its replies to reviewers say a deleted card's balance returns to your Kripicard wallet after support confirms it, and its terms say card transactions are generally non-refundable once authorised. Halocard balances can be withdrawn to a supported withdrawal method.See how Halocard withdrawals work
