In your Halocard dashboard, create a new card, name it Uber Eats and set a limit that covers what you are about to pay.

Add the card under Account, then Wallet

In the Uber Eats app, select Account, then Wallet, then Add Payment. Enter the card number, expiry date, CVV and billing ZIP code, then select Save.

Tips for successful payments at Uber Eats

AcceptedAt checkout, tap the payment method under the order total and pick the Halocard, or the default method is used.
AcceptedAdd the Halocard before you delete an old card. Uber Eats needs at least one payment method on the account at all times.
AcceptedIf the card you picked cannot be charged, Uber may charge any other payment method saved in your wallet. Remove any card you do not want used.
AcceptedEnter the billing name and address exactly as they appear on your Halocard.

Why do Uber Eats payments decline?

"My payment method is not working": Uber Eats only takes a Visa, Mastercard or American Express credit card, or a Visa or Mastercard debit card with a CVV code. Remove the card under Account, then Wallet, and add it again with the CVV.

Does Uber Eats take cash?

Only in some cities. Select Cash under Account, then Wallet before you order, and pay the delivery person the amount on your receipt. Delivery people do not usually carry change. Does Uber Eats take PayPal?

Yes, depending on your country and city. Add it in the app under Account, then Wallet, then Add Payment, and choose PayPal. See How do I update or delete a payment method?

Why is there a pending Uber Eats charge on my card?

It is usually an authorization hold, not a payment. Uber Eats places one when a card is new or has not been used for a while, and can place more on one order when the total changes for a tip or a missing item. A line marked pending drops off after a few days. See What is an authorization hold?

Can I pay for Uber Eats with Apple Pay?

Yes, for orders placed in the app. Check for the Apple Pay logo under Account, then Wallet. At checkout, tap the payment method under the order total and choose Apple Pay. See Paying with Apple Pay
