Halocard is accepted at foodpanda. foodpanda takes credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and cash on delivery, and each restaurant shows its own options on its info page. Its terms name Visa, Mastercard, American Express and JCB as card partners. Grocery items priced by weight put a hold for the estimated price on the card for up to 24 hours.

How to pay for foodpanda with Halocard

Create a card for foodpanda in Halocard

In your Halocard dashboard, create a new card, name it foodpanda and set a limit that covers what you are about to pay.

Build your order and tap Checkout

Enter your delivery address, add items from a restaurant or shop to your cart, then tap Checkout and follow the instructions on screen.

Select Credit Card and place the order

On the checkout page select Credit Card as the payment method. Check the amounts, delivery details and payment information, then tap Place Order.

Complete the payment partner's secure page

Foodpanda sends you to its payment partner's secure page. Enter the card details and follow the instructions there. Once the payment is confirmed, the order goes to the restaurant, and the card can be saved with the payment provider for next time.

Tips for successful payments at foodpanda

AcceptedCheck the restaurant's info page before you order: foodpanda shows the payment methods each restaurant takes there.

Why do foodpanda payments decline?

Not enough available on the card: foodpanda asks that the card has enough funds for the whole order. Make sure the card covers the full total, including delivery fees and any hold for weighed grocery items, then place the order again.
Order cancelled by fraud checks: foodpanda uses fraud scoring and transaction analysis and can cancel an order or suspend an account it suspects. If you think the decision is wrong, contact the customer care team, which reviews the case individually.
pandapro renewal declined: A renewal declined for insufficient funds, expired card details or a bank refusal cancels pandapro at once. Subscribe again with a working card. If the failure was foodpanda's own system error, it retries for up to 30 days and your benefits stay active.

How do foodpanda refunds work?

Refunds for online payments go to your pandapay balance by default in Singapore, and the Philippines and Taiwan do the same for card orders. In Singapore you can switch the default to your original payment method in Settings. A refund to a card takes 5 to 7 business days in Singapore, or up to 30 days for an overseas bank.

What is pandapay?

pandapay is foodpanda's stored balance. In Singapore it is topped up only with a debit or credit card, holds at most S$1,000, works only for orders on foodpanda and cannot be withdrawn as cash. If an order costs more than the balance, the rest is charged to your online payment method.

Does foodpanda accept PayPal?

Yes, in some markets. foodpanda Singapore lists PayPal for online orders, and the Hong Kong and Philippines terms name PayPal as a payment partner. Select PayPal at checkout and finish on PayPal's secure page; the order goes to the restaurant once the payment is confirmed.

Can I pay foodpanda with cash on delivery?

Yes, in Singapore, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Taiwan and Malaysia. Select Cash on Delivery at checkout and pay the rider. In Singapore, vouchers work only with online payments, and cancelling a cash order after the restaurant accepts it can remove cash on delivery from your account.

How does foodpanda charge for pandapro?

pandapro is paid with a credit or debit card registered under your name. foodpanda charges the fee when you subscribe, then automatically on the first day of each new billing cycle until you cancel. Cancel with the unsubscribe link in your account; your benefits last until the end of the cycle.
