What is Halocard?

A US-issued Visa credit card that works like a debit card, with a separate virtual card for each merchant you pay. Lock a card to pause a subscription, or cancel it so the merchant can no longer charge that number.

Create a card for Peacock in Halocard

In your Halocard dashboard, create a new card, name it Peacock and set a limit that covers what you are about to pay.

Pick a plan on peacocktv.com

In a browser, go to peacocktv.com and choose Select, Premium or Premium Plus, billed monthly or yearly. Prices are shown before tax.

Enter the card as a credit card

Enter the Halocard number, expiry date and security code with your billing address. Peacock charges the plan when you confirm the purchase and again at the start of each new term.

Switch an existing plan under Plans & Payment

Sign in, open the Plans & Payment tab and, under Payment Method, click Update Payment Method. The new card is billed from the next billing cycle.

Tips for successful payments at Peacock

AcceptedTo see who bills your plan, open the Plans & Payment tab in your Peacock account. Under Your Plan, the payment method shows whether a third party such as Apple handles it.
AcceptedIf a Peacock gift card balance does not cover the whole plan, add another payment method at checkout to complete the purchase.
AcceptedEnter the billing name and address exactly as they appear on your Halocard.
AcceptedSet the card limit above the full amount plus the hold Peacock places when you pay.

Why do Peacock payments decline?

An email saying your paid plan was canceled: Peacock sends it when it had an issue charging your card, or when a plan you canceled reaches the end of its billing cycle. Update the card under Plans & Payment, then restart Premium or Premium Plus from Account.
Renewal charge failed: Peacock may retry the card after a failed charge, and unpaid fees, for example from an expired card or insufficient funds, can lead to suspended access. Keep the card active with enough available for the renewal, or update it before the billing date.
New subscription will not activate: An existing subscription can block a new one. Cancel the existing plan, wait until it fully lapses, then sign up again.
Signing up while hiding your location: Peacock may verify your location when you sign up, and its terms forbid concealing it. Turn off any VPN or proxy and sign up from home.

How do I update my payment method on Peacock?

Sign in to your account, go to the Plans & Payment tab and click Update Payment Method under Payment Method. To pay with PayPal, choose the PayPal tab there. The new method is billed from the next billing cycle. If Apple, Google, Roku or Amazon bills your plan, change the payment details with that company instead.

How much does Peacock cost?

Peacock Premium is $12.99 a month or $129.99 a year, and Premium Plus, with almost no ads, is $19.99 a month or $199.99 a year. Peacock Select is $8.99 a month or $89.99 a year. Tax is added on top.

Can I pay for Peacock with a gift card?

Yes, for Premium or Premium Plus bought directly from Peacock. Gift cards are digital only, sold online through Buyatab, and can be bought with a credit card, debit card, PayPal or Google Pay. They never expire. Once added, the gift card pays first until its balance runs out. It cannot be used on a plan billed by Apple, Google or another partner.

How do I check Peacock charges on my account?

Sign in on the Peacock website and open the Plans & Payment section. Every charge on the account is listed under View Payment History. A charge billed by Peacock usually shows as PEACOCK TV on a card statement; plans billed by an app store or cable provider show that company.
