How to pay for Nike with Halocard

01

Create a card for Nike in Halocard

In your Halocard dashboard, create a new card, name it Nike and set a limit that covers what you are about to pay.

02

Save the card in your Nike Member profile

On Nike.com, sign in and open Payment Methods in your settings. In the Nike App, tap the profile tab, then Settings, then Payment Information. In the SNKRS App, tap the profile tab, then the tool icon, then Payment Information.

03

Check out with the card as the only card on the order

Choose the saved card, or enter it in the Credit or Debit Card field. Nike takes one card per order, and you can add Nike gift cards to cover part of the total.

04

Enter a SNKRS Draw with the card on file

Signed in on the SNKRS App or Nike.com, choose your shoe and size before the countdown ends. The card is charged only if you are selected, and only when the order ships.

05

Paying in a Nike store

In Nike stores, add the Halocard to Apple Pay or Google Pay and tap, or use the physical card from your plan.

Tips for successful payments at Nike

  • AcceptedPay with one credit or debit card per order. Nike lets you add up to 10 Nike gift cards to that card, but not a second card.
  • AcceptedBefore a SNKRS Draw, update the payment information in your Nike Member profile and verify your mobile number, because Nike pre-authorizes the purchase if you are selected.
  • AcceptedKeep the card open until every shipment has gone out and any return is refunded. Nike charges each shipment as it ships and refunds to the original form of payment.
  • AcceptedTo see Apple Pay, sign in to iCloud first. On Nike.com, Apple Pay shows only in Safari.

Why do Nike payments decline?

Shipping address, billing address or payment details are incorrect or incomplete
Re-enter the card number, expiry date and security code, and the billing address exactly as your card shows it, then place the order again.
Nike cannot ship to the delivery address
Nike does not ship to PO Boxes, re-shippers or freight forwarding services. Use a home or office address.
The order still fails after you check your details
Sign out of Nike.com and the Nike App, clear your browser cache and cookies, wait 30 to 45 minutes, then sign back in and try again. If it still fails, call Nike on 1-800-806-6453.
Nike cancels or rejects the order
Nike can decline an order when the billing information or payment cannot be verified, when it is flagged as potentially fraudulent, or when it exceeds purchase limits. Contact Nike support before you order again.

Nike payment FAQ

Does Nike take Afterpay?
Not at Nike's own checkout. Nike's payment options page lists cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Klarna and Nike gift cards, and Klarna is its installment option. Afterpay's own site says you can shop Nike through the Afterpay app instead.
How does Klarna work at Nike?
Select Klarna at checkout on an order from $35 to $4,000. Pay in 4 takes the first payment when the order ships and the rest every two weeks, Pay over time charges interest, and Pay in full uses a card. In a Nike store, create a one-time Klarna digital card, add it to your mobile wallet and pay with it.
Does Nike accept PayPal?
Yes. When you choose PayPal, you agree to a billing agreement that lets Nike bill your PayPal account, valid for one hour. The shipping address on the Nike order must match the shipping address saved in your PayPal account.
Does Nike take Apple Pay?
Yes, on Nike.com and in the Nike and SNKRS apps. You need to be signed in to iCloud to see it, and on Nike.com you need to use Safari. Some older MacBooks may not show Apple Pay yet.
When does a SNKRS Draw charge my card?
Only if you are selected. Nike pre-authorizes the card in your profile for the full price plus shipping and tax, then charges it when the order ships. Entering means you agree to buy the shoes if chosen, and each person gets one entry and one purchase per launch.
