Tips for successful payments at Kick

  • AcceptedIn Chrome or Edge, open the site settings for kick.com and set Payment handlers to Allow. In Firefox, add kick.com as a tracking protection exception. Restart the browser before you pay.
  • AcceptedChoose the card you want before you subscribe. Kick keeps the same payment method on an active sub, so switching cards means unsubscribing, waiting for the period to end and subscribing again with the new card.
  • AcceptedGift up to 500 subs in one transaction, either to a named viewer or at random to the channel's community.
  • AcceptedEnter the billing name and address exactly as they appear on your Halocard.

Why do Kick payments decline?

Card details or billing address do not match
Check the card number, expiry date and CVV, and enter the name and billing address exactly as your card issuer has them, then try again.
Several declines in a row
Kick may block further attempts for a while as a security measure. Wait a few hours, fix what caused the first decline, then try again.
A VPN, ad blocker or browser setting interrupts the payment
Turn off any VPN and ad or privacy blocker, clear your browser's cache and cookies, restart the browser and pay again.
A sub's auto-renew failed
When a renewal payment fails, the sub ends and the perks go at the end of the billing period. Update the card in your account settings and subscribe to the channel again.

Kick payment FAQ

What should I do if Kick declines or doesn't support my card?
Pay with a Halocard instead. Kick accepts it, and as a US-issued Visa credit card held in US dollars it is accepted at checkouts that are strict about card type or country. Halocard is available for customers in the US and 120+ countries, so check that your country is supported, then make a card for Kick in minutes. See the countries Halocard supports.
Can I use a virtual card for Kick?
Yes. Kick accepts Halocard, a US-issued Visa credit card that works like a debit card. Make a card just for Kick and you are in full control: set a limit, lock it or cancel it whenever you like, without ever handing Kick your bank card.
How do I stop Kick charging me after I cancel?
The fastest way is to lock the Halocard you use for Kick. It takes a couple of clicks in your Halocard dashboard, and Kick can't charge that card again until you unlock it, so you stay in full control even when cancelling is slow or hard to find. To cancel with Kick as well: Go to your account settings, open Subscriptions, find the channel and click Unsubscribe. The sub and its perks stay active to the end of the paid period, then it stops renewing. Kick treats purchases as final, except where the law requires a refund or for duplicate charges, charges after cancelling, unauthorised purchases and technical errors. Email the Subscriptions Team within 30 days of the payment.
Can I keep my real card and address private from Kick?
Yes. Kick only ever sees your Halocard, never your bank card. You choose the cardholder name and billing address on each card, so your home address stays out of Kick's records. If Kick is ever caught up in a data breach, cancel that one card and make a new one in seconds.
How much is a sub on Kick?
Kick's subscriptions guide puts a channel sub at a flat $5 a month in every country it supports, and the subscribe article shows the button as Subscribe $4.99. A gifted sub costs $5 each. Subs renew monthly until you unsubscribe, and the streamer keeps 95% of the sub revenue.
How do I gift subs on Kick?
Click Gift a Sub on the streamer's channel, choose a preset or custom number up to 500 in one transaction, and gift them to a named viewer or at random to the community. You can gift anonymously. Gifted subs last about a month and do not renew, and the giver also unlocks subscriber perks on that channel.
Can I pay for Kick subs and KICKs in the app?
Yes. The Kick app on iPhone sells channel subs, gifted subs and KICKs as in-app purchases billed by Apple, with a gifted sub at $6.49, and the Android app takes in-app purchases through Google Play. Add your Halocard to Apple Pay or Google Pay to pay there. Kick asks that subs bought this way are also cancelled in Apple Subscriptions or the Google Play app.
Does Kick accept PayPal?
Yes. PayPal is listed for channel subs and gifted subs, and Kick's terms of service say it accepts payment methods through Stripe and PayPal. Cash App, Amazon Pay and Google Pay are listed for subs too.
