Not acceptedHalocard is not accepted

Halocard is not accepted at FanDuel, which charges under gambling, a high-risk category Halocard doesn't support. Why Halocard cannot be used at FanDuel

Why Halocard can't be used

FanDuel is charged under the gambling category, which Visa and our issuing bank classify as high-risk, so Halocard declines payments to it on every card. This is a Halocard rule, not a FanDuel rule.

How you can pay instead

  • A debit card from your own bank, or online banking, which connects your bank account on the Deposit screen.
  • PayPal or Venmo funded by a linked bank account, or Apple Pay with a debit card or bank account.
  • A wire transfer, a registered prepaid or gift card, or the FanDuel Play+ card, where FanDuel offers them.

Tips for successful payments at FanDuel

  • AcceptedDeposit from an account in your own name. FanDuel's terms say every deposit must come from a payment source you own that matches the name on your FanDuel account.

  • AcceptedRegister a prepaid or gift card with its issuer first, then choose Debit card on the Deposit screen and enter the billing ZIP code you registered.
  • AcceptedDeposit slightly less than a prepaid or gift card's balance to leave room for card fees.

FanDuel payment FAQ

Does FanDuel accept credit cards?

No, not for deposits on FanDuel Sportsbook, Casino, Racing, Predicts or PokerStars on FanDuel. FanDuel stopped taking credit card deposits on March 2, 2026. You can't withdraw to a credit card or fund a PayPal or Venmo deposit with one either. Credit cards still work for Daily Fantasy and FanDuel FaceOff. FanDuel warns that some banks treat these deposits as cash advances and charge fees.

Does FanDuel accept prepaid cards?

Yes, prepaid and gift cards work for deposits in most places FanDuel operates. Register the card with its issuer, choose Debit card on the Deposit screen and enter the billing ZIP code you registered. FanDuel also has its own Play+ prepaid card. Prepaid and gift cards can't be used for deposits in Massachusetts, and winnings can't be withdrawn to one.

Can I deposit on FanDuel with PayPal or Venmo?

Yes, on most FanDuel products. Choose PayPal or Venmo on the Deposit page and connect the account when prompted. Both must be funded by a linked bank account, because FanDuel says neither works with a linked debit or credit card. Neither is offered on FanDuel Predicts. Once a deposit goes through, the same account can receive withdrawals.

Does FanDuel accept Apple Pay?

Yes. Tap Account, then Add Funds, choose Apple Pay, enter the amount and confirm. Apple Pay must be linked to a bank account or debit card: FanDuel takes neither Apple Card nor Apple Cash, and no credit card in Apple Pay works for Sportsbook, Casino, Racing, Predicts or PokerStars on FanDuel deposits.

How do I deposit on FanDuel Predicts?

Select the account icon at the top right of the app home page, then Deposit, and choose a method and amount. FanDuel Predicts takes debit cards, Apple Pay and online banking. Its balance is separate from other FanDuel products, and payment methods saved elsewhere on FanDuel have to be added again.
