What is Halocard?

How you can pay instead

A Visa or Mastercard debit or prepaid card from your own bank, entered in the BetMGM Cashier.
Online banking (PayWithMyBank), a VIP Preferred e-check from your checking account, or a bank wire of $1,000 or more.
PayPal or Venmo funded by your balance or bank account, or Apple Pay in Safari on the BetMGM mobile website.
The Play+ card, a BetMGM Gift Card or GAMEON card, or cash through PayNearMe or at the Borgata cashier window.

Tips for successful payments at BetMGM

Only cards linked before March 31, 2026. From that date BetMGM has let no new credit card be added to an account, and a linked card that expires or is replaced can't be updated. BetMGM's terms also warn that a card issuer may treat a credit card deposit as a cash advance and charge fees, though BetMGM itself charges none. Debit cards, online banking, VIP Preferred, PayPal and Venmo stay open.

What are BetMGM's withdrawal methods?

BetMGM pays out to Visa debit cards, PayPal, online banking, VIP Preferred, a check by mail, the Borgata cashier, Play+ and Venmo. You withdraw to a method you deposited with in the last six months, and the minimum is $20. Each request goes through a review of up to five business days, then the method's own processing time.

What is the BetMGM minimum deposit?

$10. BetMGM says it keeps a minimum deposit of $10 for all players. A bank wire transfer has a higher minimum of $1,000.

Does BetMGM accept prepaid cards?

Yes. BetMGM's card deposit option takes Visa and Mastercard debit and prepaid cards, and BetMGM has its own Play+ prepaid account, funded with a bank card or online banking from the Deposit page. Money deposited by prepaid or gift card has to be played through before it can be withdrawn.
