How you can pay instead

A Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express debit card from your own bank, or Apple Pay with that debit card.
Online banking (ACH) from a personal bank account in your name, or a wire transfer of $100 or more.
PayPal, Venmo or Cash App Pay from a verified personal account in your name.
Cash at a participating retail store, or a DraftKings or Game On gift card where your state allows it.

Tips for successful payments at DraftKings

AcceptedVerify your DraftKings account before your first deposit. DraftKings opens deposits only after ID verification.
AcceptedFor online banking, keep the address on your bank account the same as the address on your DraftKings account.

Does DraftKings accept credit cards?

Not for Sportsbook or Casino. DraftKings removed credit cards as a deposit option for both on August 25, 2025, saying it wanted to help customers avoid cash advance fees and higher interest. Its help center says credit card deposits are still available for Daily Fantasy Sports and Pick6 through their standalone apps.

What is the minimum deposit on DraftKings?

DraftKings' new customer offer asks for a first deposit of $5 or more. A wire transfer has a $100 minimum, according to DraftKings' deposit overview.

Can I use PayPal on DraftKings?

Yes. Choose PayPal on the deposit screen and log in to connect your PayPal account. It must be a personal account in your name, since DraftKings takes no PayPal business accounts. A PayPal deposit fails if the pop-up window is closed or blocked, so DraftKings suggests Google Chrome with pop-up blockers turned off.

Does DraftKings accept prepaid cards?

Prepaid debit cards are not accepted for deposits. DraftKings does take DraftKings Gift Cards, Game On Gift Cards and generic Visa, Mastercard and Discover gift cards in states that allow them, once a generic card is registered in your name. Gift card deposits cannot be refunded and must be played through before you can withdraw.

How do I deposit on DraftKings?

Log in, then tap Deposit+ or your balance at the top of the app, or click it in the top right corner on a computer. Choose the amount, pick a deposit method and finish its steps. Your account must be ID verified first, and the method must be in your own name.
