How to pay for T-Mobile with Halocard

01

Create a card for T-Mobile in Halocard

In your Halocard dashboard, create a new card, name it T-Mobile and set a limit that covers what you are about to pay.

02

Open Make a one-time payment in T-Life or online

Log in to T-Life or your T-Mobile account online and choose Make a one-time payment. To pay a device on an Equipment Installment Plan, choose Make a one-time device payment instead. Enter the card number, expiry, security code and billing address, then confirm.

03

Set up AutoPay if you want it

Select Set up AutoPay from the Ways to pay page or in T-Life and save the card. Payments are taken about two days before the due date, and you can move the date in T-Life or My T-Mobile. A credit card other than the T-Mobile Visa runs AutoPay without the discount.

  • AcceptedPay in T-Life or online to avoid fees. T-Mobile charges $5 for payments in a store and $10 for payments taken by Customer Care.
  • AcceptedTo pay someone else's T-Mobile bill, use Pay as a guest. No login is needed.
  • AcceptedFor AutoPay, use a card whose statements are not mailed to a foreign address. T-Mobile cannot use those cards for AutoPay.
  • AcceptedEnter the billing name and address exactly as they appear on your Halocard.

Why do T-Mobile payments decline?

AutoPay is rejected or a payment is unprocessed
T-Mobile sends a text message when this happens and reprocesses unprocessed payments automatically in five banking days. Make sure the card is active and has room for the full bill before then.
An AutoPay payment is declined or returned
T-Mobile may retry up to 2 more times and can charge a returned payment fee, and repeated failures can remove you from AutoPay. Update or replace the card online, in T-Life or through Customer Care, or pay the balance as a one-time payment.
The card is not supported for Prepaid AutoPay or Auto Refill
T-Mobile Prepaid AutoPay and Auto Refill need a supported bank-issued credit card. Prepaid debit or credit cards, gift cards and refill cards are refused there; use Refill now for a one-time payment instead.

T-Mobile payment FAQ

Does a credit card get the T-Mobile AutoPay discount?
Only the T-Mobile Visa. The discount needs a linked bank account (Pay by Bank), the T-Mobile Visa or a debit card; other credit cards and Apple Pay or Google Pay are not eligible. You must also be on a plan with the discount, be active on AutoPay when the bill is processed and have paid the prior bill by its due date. Paying early with an ineligible method removes the discount on your next bill.
How do I make a one-time T-Mobile payment?
Log in to T-Life or your account online and choose Make a one-time payment. Paying someone else's bill? Use Pay as a guest with no login. Digital payments are free; T-Mobile charges $5 in a store and $10 through Customer Care. You can also use your bank's bill pay service or mail a check to T-Mobile, P.O. Box 742596, Cincinnati, OH 45274-2596.
How do I refill a T-Mobile Prepaid account?
Use Refill now online with a credit or debit card, redeem a refill card code in your account, or dial *ADD from your phone for free. Auto Refill takes a set amount between $10 and $150 monthly, every two weeks or weekly. Refills can only be bought for active accounts, and payments apply to the whole account, not single lines.
What is the T-Mobile virtual card?
It is a Virtual Prepaid Card T-Mobile sends by text for promotions such as Family Freedom and Keep and Switch. Depending on the promotion it is a Virtual Prepaid Mastercard or Visa that can pay your T-Mobile bill and buy devices, accessories or services. It cannot be refilled and expires after the last day of the sixth month from issue.
