Bitrefill payment FAQ

What should I do if Bitrefill declines or doesn't support my card?
Pay with a Halocard instead. Bitrefill accepts it, and as a US-issued Visa credit card held in US dollars it is accepted at checkouts that are strict about card type or country. Halocard is available for customers in the US and 120+ countries, so check that your country is supported, then make a card for Bitrefill in minutes. See the countries Halocard supports.
Can I use a virtual card for Bitrefill?
Yes. Bitrefill accepts Halocard, a US-issued Visa credit card that works like a debit card. Make a card just for Bitrefill and you are in full control: set a limit, lock it or cancel it whenever you like, without ever handing Bitrefill your bank card.
Can I keep my real card and address private from Bitrefill?
Yes. Bitrefill only ever sees your Halocard, never your bank card. You choose the cardholder name and billing address on each card, so your home address stays out of Bitrefill's records. If Bitrefill is ever caught up in a data breach, cancel that one card and make a new one in seconds.
Can I buy Bitrefill gift cards with a credit card?
Yes. Bitrefill accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit and debit cards, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay, for gift cards, eSIMs and phone refills. Card payments are offered in specific regions only, and pharmacy products, flights and cruises can be bought only with crypto. A service fee may apply and is shown at checkout before you pay.
Does Bitrefill accept Apple Pay?
Yes. Apple Pay and Google Pay are both on Bitrefill's list of supported non-crypto payment methods and show on its product pages. Bitrefill notes that the wallets may not appear on some devices or browsers; if that happens, enter your card details directly instead.
Does Bitrefill charge a fee for card payments?
It can. Bitrefill's terms say a service fee may be charged and is disclosed at checkout before payment. Its fees article adds that exchange rates for non-crypto payments include the cost of processing payments in different currencies.
How do Bitrefill refunds work for card payments?
Refunds for non-crypto payments go back to the original payment method as soon as possible. Processing times depend on the payment provider and can take several business days. Bitrefill suggests checking with the payment provider if a refund has an issue.
Is Bitrefill legit?
Bitrefill has been trading since 2014 and is owned and operated by Airfill Prepaid AB, a company registered in Stockholm. On October 6, 2026 its product pages showed a 4.6 out of 5 Trustpilot rating based on about 2,500 reviews.
