Tips for successful payments at Topps

  • AcceptedSign in to your Topps.com account before a release. Pre-order products can only be bought while logged in.
  • AcceptedHave the card's CVC ready. Topps asks for the 3-digit code at the final step of checkout.
  • AcceptedTick "Save my information for a faster checkout with a Shop account" to keep the card saved for the next drop.
  • AcceptedWhen paying with FanCash, wait for one order's confirmation before placing the next.

Why do Topps payments decline?

Order delayed or cancelled after checkout
Topps can delay or cancel an order when the billing information does not match the cardholder or the CVC is missing. Re-enter the billing address exactly as it appears for the card, add the CVC and order again.
Order cancelled for insufficient FanCash
FanCash already used on another order cannot be applied twice. Wait for the first order's confirmation, check your FanCash balance in your Topps Wallet, then place the order again.
Error saying an item can't be delivered to your location
The cart holds an item that ships only to domestic addresses, such as a Bowman hobby product. Use a domestic delivery address or remove that item to finish checkout.

Topps payment FAQ

What should I do if Topps declines or doesn't support my card?
Pay with a Halocard instead. Topps accepts it, and as a US-issued Visa credit card held in US dollars it is accepted at checkouts that are strict about card type or country. Halocard is available for customers in the US and 120+ countries, so check that your country is supported, then make a card for Topps in minutes. See the countries Halocard supports.
Can I use a virtual card for Topps?
Yes. Topps accepts Halocard, a US-issued Visa credit card that works like a debit card. Make a card just for Topps and you are in full control: set a limit, lock it or cancel it whenever you like, without ever handing Topps your bank card.
Can I keep my real card and address private from Topps?
Yes. Topps only ever sees your Halocard, never your bank card. You choose the cardholder name and billing address on each card, so your home address stays out of Topps' records. If Topps is ever caught up in a data breach, cancel that one card and make a new one in seconds.
Does Topps accept PayPal?
Yes. Topps.com offers PayPal as an express checkout option, along with Shop Pay, Google Pay and Venmo. With express checkout, the shipping address comes from your PayPal account, so update it there before you order.
When does Topps charge for a pre-order?
Topps captures payment for pre-orders at the time of checkout, not when the item ships. Pre-order items ship separately from the rest of an order, and you need to be logged in to your account to buy them.
How do I use Topps store credit?
Sign in, then choose the option to apply store credit at checkout. It can pay for all or part of an order, and you can combine it with a debit or credit card. Your balance and history are on the Wallet page of your Topps account.
Can I return a Topps order?
Topps says all sales are final and it accepts returns only in rare circumstances. Apparel is the exception: it can be returned within 30 days of the ship date, unworn and with its tags. Memorabilia is sold as is.
