SMSPool payment FAQ

Can I keep my real card and address private from SMSPool?
Yes. SMSPool only ever sees your Halocard, never your bank card. You choose the cardholder name and billing address on each card, so your real details stay out of SMSPool's records. If you ever want a clean break, cancel that card and make a new one in seconds.
Will SMSPool show up on my bank statement?
No. Your SMSPool purchases, with the merchant name and amount, show only in your Halocard account, never on your bank or card statement. When you add funds by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, your bank sees a single deposit labelled HALOCARD and nothing about where you spend it. What your bank statement shows.
What should I do if SMSPool declines or doesn't support my card?
Pay with a Halocard instead. SMSPool accepts it, and as a US-issued Visa credit card held in US dollars it is accepted at checkouts that are strict about card type or country. Halocard is available for customers in the US and 120+ countries, so check that your country is supported, then make a card for SMSPool in minutes. See the countries Halocard supports.
Can I use a virtual card for SMSPool?
Yes. SMSPool accepts Halocard, a US-issued Visa credit card that works like a debit card. Make a card just for SMSPool and you are in full control: set a limit, lock it or cancel it whenever you like, without ever handing SMSPool your bank card.
Does SMSPool accept PayPal?
No. SMSPool's FAQ and its Getting Started guide say it does not accept PayPal and will not add it in the future. Pay with a Visa, Mastercard or UnionPay card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe, or with cryptocurrency.
Can I get a refund on an SMSPool deposit?
Yes, if you deposited within the last 14 days and have spent none of that deposit. SMSPool issues full refunds only. Open a ticket on SMSPool's help site and choose the option for a Stripe deposit if you paid by card, or email SMSPool support with your username and the Stripe receipt ID. Crypto refunds go only to the original sending address.
Can I add balance in the SMSPool iPhone app?
Yes. The iOS app takes Apple App Store payments, and SMSPool says the 15% App Store fee is included in the price there. On the website, cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay go through Stripe.
Which cryptocurrencies does SMSPool accept?
Over 80, including Bitcoin, Bitcoin Lightning, Litecoin, Ethereum, Solana, Dogecoin, USDT and USDC, with the stablecoins on networks such as TRC20, ERC20, BSC and Solana. Crypto payments run through processors such as Confirmo, CoinGate and Cryptomus. A payment sent in the wrong asset or on the wrong network is treated as a mispayment and is not credited to your balance.
Does SMSPool charge for numbers that never get a code?
No. You pay for a number only once a code arrives, so a number that never receives one costs nothing and the money stays in your balance. The balance never expires.
