How to pay for HeyGen with Halocard

01

Create a card for HeyGen in Halocard

In your Halocard dashboard, create a new card, name it HeyGen and set a limit that covers what you are about to pay.

02

Open Plan & Billing and click Upgrade

Log in on heygen.com, click your account icon at the bottom left and choose Settings, then Plan & Billing. Click Upgrade and pick Creator, Pro or Business. On Pro you can choose a higher credit tier at checkout.

03

Pay at checkout

Enter the card number, expiry, CVC and billing address, add a promotion code if you have one, and confirm. The new plan and its credits apply at once.

04

Change the saved card in Manage Billing

In Plan & Billing, click Manage Billing at the top of the plan overview. HeyGen opens a Stripe or Chargebee billing page, where Add Payment Method saves a new card and Invoice History lists past invoices.

Tips for successful payments at HeyGen

  • AcceptedAdd the new card under Manage Billing, then Add Payment Method, before you try to remove the old one: the default card cannot be removed while a plan is active.
  • AcceptedAn upgrade mid-cycle charges the price difference straight away, so the card needs room for that amount on the day you upgrade.
  • AcceptedEnter any promo code in the Add promotion code field under the subtotal before you complete the purchase.
  • AcceptedEnter the billing name and address exactly as they appear on your Halocard.

Why do HeyGen payments decline?

The payment went through but the account still shows Free
Bank transfers and some debit cards with 3-D Secure can take up to 6 business days to process. If the account is still on Free after that, email support@heygen.com.
A renewal charge failed
HeyGen may suspend paid features until the payment is received. Add a working card in Manage Billing so the next charge goes through.
A legacy team plan renewal failed
If a renewal payment fails because the card expired or lacked funds, HeyGen cancels a legacy team plan and it cannot be bought again. Check the card before the renewal date.

HeyGen payment FAQ

How much does a HeyGen subscription cost?
The Free plan costs nothing. Creator is $29 a month for 600 credits, or $24 a month billed $288 a year. Pro starts at $49 a month for 1,000 credits and scales up to 100,000 credits a month. Business is $149 a month for the first seat with 1,500 shared credits, plus $20 for each extra seat. Enterprise is priced on request. Taxes are added to the price.
How do I cancel my HeyGen subscription?
On the website, open Settings, then Plan & Billing, click the arrow next to Manage Billing and choose Cancel Plan. You keep paid access until the billing cycle ends, and charges already paid are not refunded. Pause Plan instead postpones the next charge by 30 days, but your credit balance expires. App subscriptions are cancelled in Apple's Subscriptions settings or in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions.
Can I get a refund from HeyGen?
HeyGen says payments are generally non-refundable. Purchases made through HeyGen or Google Play may be refunded within 15 days, reviewed case by case, and a request can be refused if many credits were used. Apple App Store purchases are refunded by Apple within 14 days. To ask, use live chat or email support@heygen.com with the reason, your account email and the invoice.
How do HeyGen credits work?
Paid plans include monthly credits that pay for video generation, translation and asset creation, at different rates per feature. On a monthly web plan, unused credits roll over for one more cycle. On the website, Creator and Pro users get more credits by moving to a higher plan or Pro tier, while Business users can buy 100 credits for $5. The mobile app also sells one-time credit packs.
Do I need a HeyGen plan to buy API credits?
No. HeyGen API credits are pay as you go, charged in dollars and separate from the Creator, Pro and Business plans, so free users can buy them too. Pay-as-you-go API credits expire 12 months after purchase, and HeyGen no longer gives free API credits.
