402 - Insufficient Balance
Your balance has run out; this is not a card decline. Check your balance, then add funds on the Top Up page.
Your top-up balance looks missing
You probably paid on a different account. Sign in with your other login, such as Google or email, and check its top-up records.
Current device environment error
DeepSeek has flagged your IP address or phone number as high risk. Try again from a different network or device.

DeepSeek payment FAQ

Is the DeepSeek API a subscription?
No. You prepay a balance on the platform, and each request is charged per token from it. A granted balance is used before your topped-up balance. DeepSeek can change its prices and suggests topping up based on your actual usage.
How much does the DeepSeek API cost?
DeepSeek charges per million tokens. On 6 October 2026 its Models and Pricing page listed deepseek-flash at $0.30 per million uncached input tokens and $1.20 per million output tokens at peak times, and deepseek-v4-pro at $1.32 and $3.96. Off-peak rates are half the peak rates.
Does my DeepSeek top-up balance expire?
No. DeepSeek says top-up balances do not expire.
Can I get a refund from DeepSeek?
Unused balance can be refunded. For an online payment, sign in, open Billing and click Refunds. The terms say the refund covers all unspent money in one lump sum after handling fees, with no partial refunds.
How do I get a DeepSeek invoice?
Sign in to the platform, open Billing and click Invoices to apply. You can also cancel and reissue an invoice from the same page.
