Best Buy emails you right away when there is a problem authorizing the card. Check your spam folder, then fix the card or its limit within 24 hours, or Best Buy cancels the order.
The order total is more than one card covers
BestBuy.com takes only one credit or debit card per order and does not let you add PayPal, Apple Pay or prepaid cards to a card payment. Pay the whole total with one card, with enough room on it for tax and shipping.
A canceled order's hold is still using the card limit
After you cancel, the card issuer decides when the hold drops off. Best Buy lists about 6 days for Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Leave room on the card for it, or wait before you order again.
