While Halocard has successfully processed transactions at PlayStation, merchant acceptance can change at any time. Merchants can apply fraud and risk-based rules that prevent customers from using US-issued cards at checkout which is outside of Halocard's control. We recommend using Halocard to first make a test payment with PlayStation to confirm acceptance for your individual situation. Halocard does not provide refunds in the event your card is declined.

If the message says your payment information was updated too often in a short time, the account is blocked for 24 hours. Wait the full 24 hours, since any attempt restarts the block, and pay with wallet funds or another method meanwhile.
PlayStation may verify your country of residence from the card number and reject a mismatch, and the account country cannot be changed. Use a card registered in the same country as your account.
Enter the details as they appear on your bank statement. Replace accented letters with plain ones and leave out asterisks, hyphens, apostrophes and slashes.
Turn on online payments with your card provider and confirm the card is active, has funds and is not blocked. Check the PlayStation status page too, and retry once every service shows green.
